
For those who don't already know it, I recommend Edwin A. Abbott's 1884 classic on dimensionality and Victorian social satire to spice up our discussion on 1st and 3rd person representations. It's a quick and a fun read, and you'll never be the same again. The text is available in several places and formats. My favorite is:
